NLBMDA has produced a 15-minute training DVD that dealers can use to train their employees on the new OSHA requirements, which went into effect December 1, 2013.

OSHA has revised its Hazard Communication Standard (HazCom) to align with the United Nations' Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS).

The revisions require employees potentially exposed to hazardous material be trained on the new labeling and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements. This employee training is based on the specific topics that OSHA has determined must be provided by employers for employees.
